What is K-Laser Therapy?
Laser Therapy, or “photobiomodulation”, is the use of specific wavelengths of light (red and near-infrared) to create therapeutic effects. These effects include improved healing time, pain reduction, increased circulation and decreased swelling. Laser Therapy has been widely utilized in Europe by physical therapists, nurses and doctors as far back as the 1970’s. Now, after FDA clearance in 2002, Laser Therapy is being used extensively in the United States.
“We have used Lasers in our office for 10 years. The K-Laser is Not a low level cold laser. The K-Laser is class 4 laser which is much more powerful and effective than any laser that was used in the past. After being treated personally in 2011 for a 3 month long serious Carpal Tunnel problem 2 K-Laser treatments completely eliminated the inflammation and pain and 4 days after the first treatment I completed the swim on Team Chiropractic Triathlon team with no problem. After this miracle I had to have this wonderful therapy in the office.”

Patient Benefits of K-Laser Therapy
Laser Therapy is proven to biostimulate tissue repair and growth. The Laser accelerates wound healing and decreases inflammation, pain, and scar tissue formation. In the management of chronic pain Class IV Laser Therapy can provide dramatic results, is non-addictive and virtually free of side effects.\
Has effectiveness been demonstrated scientifically?
Yes. There are thousands of published studies demonstrating the clinical effectiveness of Laser Therapy. Among these, there are more than one hundred rigorously controlled, scientific studies that document the effectiveness of laser for many clinical conditions.
Cellular Effects of Laser Therapy
During Laser Therapy the infrared laser light interacts with tissues at the cellular level and metabolic activity increases within the cell, improving the transport of nutrients across the cell membrane. This initiates the production of cellular energy (ATP) that leads to a cascade of beneficial effects, increasing cellular function and health.
Laser Therapeutic Effects
During each painless treatment laser energy increases circulation, drawing water, oxygen, and nutrients to the damaged area. This creates an optimal healing environment that reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle spasms, stiffness, and pain. As the injured area returns to normal, function is restored and pain is relieved.
K-Laser is leading the way in pain management, tissue repair, safe treatments, and fast treatment times.

General Motors: A double-blind study conducted by GM on 119 of its employees found MicroLight Cold Laser treatment a viable alternative to surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome.
Washingon Post article on the ML830, 2004:Olympian Ambitions – The U.S. Olympic training centers in Colorado Springs and Chula Vista, Calif., are using cold lasers. The Olympic training center in Lake Placid, N.Y., plans to offer the therapy within a few months.According to Edward Ryan III, director of Sports Medicine for the U.S. Olympic Training Center, the cold laser has given athletes significant relief from pain and increased their range of motion. Because the device is hand-held and portable, he said, it can even be used in competition venues.
NFL: The Washington Post reported the use of the MicroLight Laser by the New England Patriots of the National Football League prior to their 2004 Super Bowl XXXVIII victory.
