August 2013 Watauga Lake Triathlon
Team Chiropractic from Boone won the Team Event at The Watauga Lake Triathlon today. Team members Caleb Critcher Runner, Gene Fowler Bike and Brad Batchelor Swim, combined for the fastest time of the day. The race featured a 1000 meter swim, 35 kilometer bike and 8k run. Their winning time was just under 1:52 minutes.

Dr. Batchelor has supported SPORT throughout the U.S, Bermuda, Europe and Costa Rica. Sponsoring 10k runs such as the SPRING BACK road race in Greensboro for the North Carolina Chiropractic Association and triathlons to power lifting.
Batchelor has been team doctor and judge at the prestigious Appalachian Karate Tournaments for years as well as receiving the LIVING LEGEND SPORT KARATE AWARD in 2003.
Competing in over 50 triathlons representing Batchelor Chiropractic Clinic, he has competed with legendary triathletes such as Scott Tinley, Dave Scott, Mark Allen and Lance Armstrong.
Batchelor Competed in the Nice World Triathlon Championship in Nice France a 2 mile swim, 75 mile bike through the Maritime Alps and 20 mile run.
For the past 15 years has sponsored and a swimmer for Team Chiropractic Triathlon.
Batchelor has always been available to athletes for coaching and Chiropractic care.
He has competed with his Polo team in Wellington, Boca Raton Florida and Across the South Eastern U.S.
He has been the official Chiropractor at the Professional Womens Beach Volley Ball Tournaments.
Batchelor and buddy Mike Cash from Boone, brother Dan and Phil Gilbert D.C. from Indiana have competed in the Ecochallenge Racing School in Southern California.
Batchelor’s competition now is swimming on the Tri team and running after his 4 year old daughter.
Batchelor has run in 5 and 10 k road races across the country for years with his brother and fellow Chiropractor Dan Batchelor. Dan has won over 300 road races and now competes in Duathalons and Kayak races.
